Item Tables
By default, the table comes with all items (tech1, named tech1, tech2, faction, cosmos, officer) sorted by name, and lists the name first followed by all the attributes.
The first thing that you can do is toggle off non market items by clicking on the "Show only market types" checkbox.
If the icon of a column header is not enough to tell you what attribute it stands for, you can mouse over it to get the name in a tooltip.
You can sort the table, either by name or by attribute values.
To sort the table by name, you click on the "Name" table header. Clicking it again sorts it in reverse order.
The same thing applies for attributes columns. Click on the icon in the column header to sort the rows by the attribute values of that column. Clicking again reverses the order.
The sort options are also available from the popup menu that you can access by right clicking on a table column header.
This popup menu also allows you to hide the attribute columns that you don't care about.
Once you have sorted the table by an attribute, you can refine the sort by using another attribute as the secondary key.
For example, you can sort all tracking enhancers (Ascending) by their Max Range Multiplier.
Then the lower the row, the better the range bonus is.
If you want to determine which is the best tracking enhancer, the tracking bonus is important too.
You can refine the sort by the Tracking Speed Multiplier (Ascending).
Once you've done that, the table is sorted with the worse tracking enhancers at the top and the best at the bottom.
