Jump Routes
The jump route tool is an extension of the Jump Range option of the map.
The first thing to do is select a ship.
Then you select your skill level for "Jump Drive Calibration".
Then you select the starting solar system.
The Starting point text field has auto-complete feature.
Once you have entered a solar system name, you can right click on it to select it on the map.
Once the starting point has been set, you can click on the arrow button at the right of the Starting point field to have the map give a different color to the solar system points depending on how many jumps are needed to reach them.
Then, you select your skill level for "Jump Fuel Conservation".
Then you select the destination solar system.
The Destination text field has auto-complete feature and it will only let you enter a system that you can reach (i.e. with a security level lower or equal to 0.4).
Once you have entered a solar system name, you can right click on it to select it on the map.
Once the destination has been set, you can click on the arrow button at the right of the destination point field to search for the best possible waypoints.
This will add a table listing the waypoints, and the fuel amount needed in total and between each waypoints.
The table will always give you the route with the smallest possible number of jumps, with the lowest possible fuel consumption (the number of jumps takes priority over the fuel consumption).
You can right click on each waypoint to select it on the map.
